Star Trek TNG: Episode 76 - The Best of Both Worlds II

Season 4 begins. The Best of Both Worlds part II. I can't get the Hannah Montana theme song out of my head.

Although this episode was pretty awesome, I have a huge gripe about how easily the Borg had been defeated. I mean they just basically beam aboard the ship and take back Picard without any trouble. Then they issue a command that in essence causes the Borg ship to destroy itself. Then they somehow turn Picard back to a full human. All within the last half hour. Too easy.

ST TNG: 75 down 104 to go

I don't think any of these season openers are as good as the season finales they follow. They always build up to these huge cliffhangers and then it's always so obvious the writers were just making things up as they went along so the last part always feel rushed.

But that's ok, because they're still fun.

Agreed. This one for sure, was totally rushed

Best of Both Worlds always makes me think of that tranny porn mentioned in Clerks.

would Borgs really have individual names??? they are a hive mind

That's true, I doubt that they would have individual names. If they did, it would probably be in binary or something.

What do Borg do in their off time? Do they just hang our at the Borg Water Cooler?

"Did we see Seinfeld last night?"

"Yes we did. No soup for us!"

"Ha ha ha."

I got nothing.

This reminds me of that review you just did, Donald, of the Spielberg directed show where people in the future tell jokes as mathematical equations.
