Star Trek DS9 Episode 150 - Tears of the Prophets

This was a fairly action packed episode. Starfleet is planning an attack on the Dominion. The subplot is Work and Dax are trying to have a baby. Quark and Bashir are depressed because they officially stand no chance with Dax, they both go and spill their guts to .... ugghh Vic Fontaine. Anyway, this is all pointless.

Starfleet makes it's move, but the Dominion is ready. Dukat takes one of those artifacts and breaks it, allowing himself to be possessed by a powerful spirit (similar to what happened to Kira a few episodes back). On the Defiant Garak figures out a way to turn the Dominion weapons on themselves. Meanwhile on DS9 evil Dukat beams aboard and kills Dax. He then collapses the wormhole. Bashir saves the symbiote but  Jadzia dies. Sisko gets back to DS9 feeling like a failure. He takes Jake and goes back to Earth, leaving Kira in charge. This ends season 6. This episode had great space fighting scenes, it was very "Star Wars".

150 down and 26 to go

When the heck does Dax die, or whatever? I didn't realize that happened so late into the series.

she died so she could go on network TV. Becker was okay, his secretary was cute

Finally Dax dies, this is the episode. She did indeed get killed off so that she could be on Becker. But yeah, I swore that this happened in like season 4 not in nearly season 7!!

Is THAT seriously why she left the show? I guess I just thought Becker was what she did later on. Weird decision. Then again, she does have that added income every year attending BeckerCon.

That really is why she left. Lol BeckerCon. I love how Ted Danson always plays a stud, he is seriously a hideous fucking Frankenstein monster

Oh man! Who looks more like Frankenstein: Ted Danson or Mary Steenbergen?
