So now Janeway and Chakotay must live together on this planet forever while Voyager continues on with Tuvok as the Captain. They start to have a romantic relationship, which seems odd. As in, there is no hint of this previously and it seems that within a day on the planet they are already having feelings.
Anyway, Janeway forbids the crew from contacting the Vidiians, even though they probably know the cure. Eventually, they disobey her request and send Torres to contact them, but of course it's a trap and Voyager barely escapes. BUT, in the meantime...remember Pel? That Vidiian doctor that The Doctor saved? She has the cure and smuggles it over to The Doctor. So yeah...that's about it.
