Helen of Troy??? Anyway, great acting by France Nuyen as she plays the bitchy Queen Elaan. She has been set up to marry the king of their enemy race in a move to bring peace between the two. Kirk is here as sort of a mediator. The basic plot (in the beginning) is for Kirk to teach her how to not be a bitch. Of course he ends up hooking up with her as by touching her tears a man will become infatuated with her
The plot goes insane. There is a saboteur amongst the people, he wishes to ruin the wedding. He’s working secretly with the Klingon's. There is a big battle between the Enterprise and a Klingon Cruiser. Elaan becomes well behaved. Kirk discovers her necklace is made from dilithium crystals … and whole bunch of other stuff happens.

Okay, so is it just me, or is Elaan of Troyius kind of manly looking in the face?
