Enterprise: Episode 36 - VANISHING POINT

"After her first trip through the transporter, Hoshi finds herself turning invisible and the rest of the crew believing she's dead."

I give this episode an 8 but it should have been a 10, i'll tell you why. It's still the early days of the transporter and this is Hoshi's first time and she's freaked out. The beam her up and she turns into a ghost. Nobody can see or hear her. They figure she is dead and Archer calls her dad to tell him and he doesn't really seem to care ... also her dad is Buck Bokai! Well it's the actor Keone Young. So as she's walking around the ship she sees some aliens (Suliban I think) planting bombs on the ship. Nobody else can see them as they are cloaked. She tries to warn Archer by disrupting his quarters lights in a morse code, but to no avail. So she takes action on her own and does a bunch of stuff that I don't feel like writting about. Then in the end it was all a dream! She imagined the whole thing while being beamed up to the ship. Ugggh I hate that!

Ohhhh yeah. I remember this episode. I have two comments:

1. Wasn't there a TNG episode exactly like this with Geordie and Ro getting cloaked?

2. Here's a dialogue from Family Guy:

Brian Griffin: So, it was sorta like a dream?

Stewie Griffin: No, it was a simulation.

Brian Griffin: Yes, but, theoretically, if someone watched the events of that simulation from start to finish, only to find out that none of it really happened, I mean... you don't think, that would, j-- be just like a giant middle finger to them?

Stewie Griffin: Well, hopefully, they would have enjoyed the ride.

Brian Griffin: I don't know, man. I think you'd piss a lot of people off that way. [leaves]

that pic of HOSHI is bonertastic.

it what sense would this episode NEED to be told as a dream?
like how couldn't it just be "real" and then have hoshi be "fixed" at the end?
and who has a dream that linear? if it was a dream it should be hoshi being late for her finales while a giant spider tries to rape her

well maybe thats just my dream??

There should be an episode where just Hoshi's clothes turn invisible. And then she has sex with me. But she should take off her clothes first, or that would just be weird. So I guess there's really no point for her to have anything turn invisible at all. So, basically, don't make this show a sci-fi program, since all I'm really interested in is a porno.

What just happened?

Yeah man that Family Guy quote was perfect. And holy crap your right there was a TNG episode with the same exact plot!!

Hoshi and T'Pol are way too hot and this show is far to sexual, it's distracting! Trek always had cute woman to some extent, but mind goes in the gutter watching these two.
