Well, there was bound to be a mediocre episode at some point. To be honest, it may have been a lot better if it wasn’t geared around Nurse Chapel … I mean her acting is just so bad. But one thing totally saves this episode and that is Sherry Jackson as Andrea the android. I could not stop looking at her, she is wearing very little and is painfully sexy. Seeing her standing next to that scarecrow Majel Barrett just makes her even more beautiful. I mean Barrett looks like my grandmother, and she’s dead!
While down on the planet Kirk and Chapel discover that the doctor was making androids and may have been planning to take over the galaxy. He uncovered this technology when he landed on this planet and found Lurch (who is the keeper of these androids). Evidently if you spin a person around very fast then a robotic duplicate is created. Ted Cassidy is looking just as gigantic as ever and it’s insane to see him toss Kirk (or his stunt double) around like a ragdoll. An android pulls a gun on Kirk and no shit, he uses Andrea as a human shield. At this point he’s not aware that she is anything but human, so this is an incredibly disturbing move on Kirk’s part.
Kirk attacks Ruk with a giant dildo |
I guess it’s a bit lame that a few episodes ago there was a duplicate Kirk and now in this episode the same thing happens. But, it’s done so differently that I really didn’t even think of that until the episode was over. So android Kirk ends up on the Enterprise and he steals information for Dr. Korby. Meanwhile real Kirk is trapped on the surface. He was told that Andrea the android will do whatever she is told … so seriously Kirk orders her to make out with him. A total creep. But I must say, Kirk is actually getting some human responses out of these robots. Well finally It is discovered that Korby himself is an Android. After understanding that he is no longer human, Android Korby kills himself and Andrea. Another happy ending.

Seriously, that chick might be the hottest chick ever. The casting people for the original Star Trek were the second best team ever assembled at hiring hot chicks, right after whoever finds all those girls on the Disney Channel.
But, yeah, I don't remember much else about this episode.
But why areData and Lore the only androids in the history of Star Trek that looks like shit? Why didn't Soong create a hot chick? Why aren't all androids like those real girl dolls? Is there really any other reason to create an android but to fuck it?
Why make a man android that's fully functional?! Like it has a robo-boner?
Think of it as basically just a more elaborate dildo, that can talk and take your dog for a walk.
Yeah she is amazingly hot. I could have posted 20 different pics of her.
There honestly is not any other reason to create an android. And if your going to make one look as hot as this one ... then you might as make it bangable. Data I guess was "fully functional" but why?? woman are not as desperate as men, who would have sex with him?!
Here's the thing: We already have robots, they just don't like they do in the movies. They have robots that look like giant cones that polish the insides of pots along an assembly line in a factor, robots that are boxes with blades that just slice up pieces of juicy fruit bubble gum, etc. There is absolutely no reason any scientist would ever need to create any kind of robot in the image of a man. Our bodies are mostly worthless, poorly designed, and wouldn't work at all for anything that is weighted down by metal or aluminum.
Unless you want to fuck it.
And that's the perfect post to end on. Case closed.
