"The USS Defiant becomes trapped in a planet's volatile atmosphere after battling with the Jem'Hadar."
While running a trade mission to a planet in the Alpha Quadrant, the Defiant is attacked by the Jem'hadar and crippled. The crew is all split up and trapped. Sisko is injured, Dax and Bashir are freezing in a turbolift and Quark needs to defuse a Jem'Hadar torpedo. Overall, it was a decent action episode in typical DS9 style in which they pair off random crew members.
But, poor Bashir. Even when staring down the face of death, Dax still won't even let him get any.
